FaceBase 2025 Community Forum in Marina del Rey
Registration is free and available to the public. The deadline to register for onsite attendance is Friday, May 16, 2025.
Join us for the FaceBase 2025 Community Forum on June 3 and 4 at the USC Information Sciences Institute (ISI) in Marina del Rey, CA.
(Fun fact: ISI is actually the headquarters for the FaceBase technical team!)
This year’s theme is Enabling and Expanding the Reach of Craniofacial Research: Building Connections and Supporting Reuse.
Our goals for this meeting include:
- Targeting the Entire Data Lifecycle to Maximize Data Reuse in Research: Demonstrating FaceBase’s role in facilitating the planning for and the sharing of original and derived data to maximize data reuse in the context of the data lifecycle.
- Promoting Use of Multi-dimensional Preclinical and Clinical Data: Enhancing pre/clinical data contribution and use. Strengthening the connection between human diseases and relevant animal models.
- Expanding and Connecting Scientific Dental, Oral, Craniofacial and Inner Ear (DOCIE) Data with Anatomically and Biologically Relevant Health and Disease Models: Engaging more thought leaders, investigators, clinicians, organizations, and funders to explore FaceBase’s unique offerings.
Who should attend? Investigators, clinicians, and trainees involved in foundational, translational, and clinical research related to dental, oral, craniofacial and related diseases and conditions of the system of the head.
